Religious statesman Rajan Zed has been inducted as a member of Reno Police Chief’s Advisory Panel.
This panel brings together broad stakeholder representation and is designed to go both ways: members receive regular updates from Reno Police Department (RPD) and have a real voice in how RPD’s work aligns with Reno’s service needs and community values.
It will be led by Reno Police Chief Corey Solferino and attended by RPD leadership. Taglines of RPD include “Your Police, Our Community” and “Protecting Our City Serving Our Community”.
Rajan Zed, who is President of Universal Society of Hinduism, has read invocations (opening-prayers) in 365 legislative bodies in 47 US states and Canada, including US Senate and US House of Representatives.
